One of the main resources in the state of Florida for college students heading to school who are in search of free scholarships is the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) State Programs that operates within the Florida Department of Education.
They offer access to available programs as well as applications and any award activities. You can contact them at osfa@fldoe.org or 1-888-827-2004.
Other scholarships available in Florida are offered by such organizations as the Florida Engineering Foundation, P.R.I.D.E., Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant and the Netherlands Florida Scholarship Foundation.
Other organizations might include the Florida Library Association and the Florida Association for Media in Education.
